Very happy to be back on the blog after missing last weekend. I was traveling to the Montreal Mineralogy Show to purchase the crystals promised to the donors of Invocation’s crowdfunding campaign with the reward — Crystal Blessing. I took a moment with each donor to determine the best crystal for them. That is why I made the trip to Montreal last weekend. I must now purify them, program them and make this programming permanent with the appropriate ceremony.
Invocation is finally emerging from the very serious problems created by a series of managers who did not have the best of intentions. Thank you to all the donors of the crowdfunding campaign Invocation Needs You, which allowed us to keep our heads above water. Soon we should be able to resume our social media publications. I will finally be able to offer a new product I created over the past year, one I am very happy about. It is a meditation lamp.
Since the beginning of Invocation we have regularly received requests for candles with our fragrances. Research and development demonstrated the impossibility of achieving this. Natural wax does not hold the oils, or the candle did not diffuse the scent. Certain extracts would settle at the bottom of the candle as a black deposit. An unsuccessful search. About a year ago, I had the idea of creating a small flame that could diffuse our fragrances — Liquid Smudge, Sacred Essences and perfumes. After many attempts, I arrived at a lamp that burns a vegetable oil (I recommend jojoba oil, though other oils can also be used) that gently warms water to which a few drops of concentrate or perfume are added, which then diffuses this beneficial fragrance. It is somewhat in the image of the Inuit quiliq — seal fat lamps traditionally used in the snow igloos of the First Nations of the Far North. I light this lamp almost every morning while drinking my coffee, to accompany my study of sacred texts.
It is not yet available for sale. We will make it available in the third week of November for the holiday season. As it is made of soapstone, crafted by an excellent artisan in this material, quantities are limited. You can reserve your meditation lamp now with a deposit. It costs $210. 50% of that amount will give you access to this artisanal soapstone treasure. It is so perfectly aligned with what I do that I am truly very happy about it.

I am at the age where one looks back on one’s life — at failures and successes, the spiritual journey, and the road still ahead. What I am disappointed about is all the mistakes of conduct I have made. I understand their origin, their causes — the intense childhood illnesses that brought me close to death, and even to death on at least two occasions — yet nevertheless, there were ways to have done otherwise. What I am happy about is having understood the importance of the traditions and philosophies of my ancestors, and having followed that path despite all the obstacles, persecutions and tribulations placed in my way. In fact, we should all understand our generational roots and sort through what we must keep and what is no longer useful. When we become adults — which for indigenous peoples begins at the passage of puberty — there are rites of passage that facilitate the understanding of our particular talents and our life mission. This is what has been lost and what we must reactivate in our communities.
Have a good week, everyone.
P.S. — For the lamp I will provide the link in next week’s article. To read more about rites of passage: https://aiglebleu.net/en/quetes-de-vision-et-loges-de-lunes/
