The Bat – Totem Animal

The bat symbolizes shamanic initiation. The word shaman is a word coming from the Toungouse language, also called Evenk, a language of Eastern Siberia, which means “one who was twice born”. Indeed, most shamanic initiations reactivate the idea of dying and being reborn, and most of the spiritual traditions include this legend, this myth, the best known being that of the dead and resuscitated Christ.

Thus, the high priests spread their dominion over the known world by means of the Pharaohs. They formed armies which set out to conquer surrounding tribes. In every tribe conquered they imprisoned and interrogated their shamans and wise men to extract their knowledge and then killed them. Thus, their science of the mind and spiritual power continued to grow whereas that of the humanities they dominated went decreasing.

THE MODERN WORLD – ORIGINAL CAUSE OF ITS PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS?

I think the most important question that we have to answer when we look at the world today is this: what has put us in the gigantic human and ecological catastrophic predicament in which we are all in today? First of all it’s important to understand the source of this problem and then to take responsibility for it. It is my conviction that if we take enough time to think all this through we would be able to transform this life threatening situation into health for the environment and happiness for all families.
