Peace Begins Within

We have been doing hard work at Invocation. Our beautiful sacred fragrances are in demand in several countries, but the administrative requirements are complicated and a lot of work. Fortunately, the crowdfunding campaign was a success. It came at just the right moment for us to continue.

We have a new web platform at invocation.ca. It is aesthetically less polished, but with management integrated into our accounting system. This will save us a great deal of time. For those who have already purchased from the site and for our distributors, you will shortly receive a link to integrate your data into an account that will allow you to track your orders and access your history. In short, we will improve the visual over time, but for now it is important to improve our functionality.

It is the season for harvesting traditional smudge herbs. Good news! We have found beautiful sweetgrass braids. They will be available in about three weeks. But if you cannot wait, you can place a pre-order now.

All of this to say that when the weekend arrives, I am exhausted. A full work load when into my seventh decade is not like when I was in my forties! Thus, only today did I find the energy to write to you.

What came to me during my morning meditations is the need for our humanity and our planet to have lasting and stable peace. Our current evolutionary stance allows us to understand the importance and enduring value of peace. Not only for us on earth, but for our solar system and our galactic quadrant. Everything is connected, and the terrible human foolishness of our incessant wars of great destruction reaches very, very far.

The benefits of lasting peace are infinite. But how do we get there? It is pointless and misguided to demonstrate and manifest against war. That is in itself an attitude of conflict — being against something. Peace begins within us. Knowing and having the discipline to be in stillness, in quietude, looking inward. There are conflicts within us. This is why we experience distress, worry, anguish, fear, illness, uncertainty, doubt, jealousy, irritation, dissatisfaction, impatience, discouragement, and so on. All these emotions are internal conflicts. If we learn how to appease the conflicts within us, to find a true peace that comes from the stability of the soul — which is our true self — then this vibration will spread around us like a healing wave and a soothing balm. It will benefit countless beings. It is simple enough, but difficult to accomplish. This is why discipline is so important. The regularity of practice is more important than the amount of time we devoted to it in a single sitting. When there is difficulty in emotion, the best solution is stillness: to calm oneself, to unravel and find resolution, to look inward with confidence — for at the depths of every being, without exception, resides divine nature, the eternal soul that has no worries and no limitations. This is the true path to peace.

I wish you a peaceful and happy week! Love and Joy!
