TWO BASIC HEALING PRINCIPLES

You may have guessed that health is a very important subject for me. I have been interested in it since childhood. At around the age of 8, I realized that medicine had no intention of curing my childhood illness, but was making me dependent on drugs. That’s when I started my research. When I want to explain modern medicine, I always say that it is excellent for multiple trauma cases: serious accidents, severe burns, war medicine, etc. When it comes to treating the body like a machine that needs repairs, it’s great!

Pharmaceutical companies want to make a profit. This is contrary to the philosophy of our nations’ healing arts, where the primary motivation for care must be compassion. Since natural methods are very effective and inexpensive, pharmaceutical companies, which are among the richest companies on the planet, have set up lobbies to incite governments to pass laws that limit and even prohibit the use of many alternative methods and products. That is why there are so many laws that severely restrict product labeling, prohibiting the use of certain words, especially the word “healing.” Because modern medicine does not heal: it puts bandages on the symptoms. The most telling sign of this is that there is very little training on nutrition for doctors. Just look at meals served in hospitals! We all know, simple common sense, that diet and even the way we eat have a major influence on health.

That is why I want to talk to you about two basic healing principles. First, we must understand that the body has its own mechanisms for healing. It knows what to do to heal itself. There is a supreme intelligence for doing this in every cell. There are two things that the body and all its components need to maintain health. First—A healthy physiological environment, relatively pure, free of pollutants, intoxicants, parasites, unhealthy fats, and other elements that clog the cells and various conduits that perform the body’s countless functions. Second—The nutrients it needs.

In the prophecies of the First Nations about the times we are living in today, it was said: There will come a time when there will be disrespect for nature. In response to this, nature will restrict and withdraw its full participation in life. Plants and animals will no longer have the same nutritional value. Thus, humans will be forced to eat small rocks for food. The prophecy, which dates back 500 years before the arrival of Europeans in North America, foresaw the advent of supplements, vitamins, and minerals that have become essential in our time.

In a life in harmony with nature, there is always everything we need for good health in the foods found in our environment. The earth is a perfect organism for giving life in abundance in all its environments. However, in the modern era, where we are witnessing the disappearance of thousands of plant and animal species, there is no longer the harmony, completeness, and full availability of biodiversity found in nature’s original state. As a result, essential elements are missing, and all of nature suffers, as do human beings. In the past, before the Europeans arrived, there were fewer than a hundred diseases. Today there are more than 100,000. In the modern world, there is little understanding of the true nature of Man and his unity and interdependency with nature. Our knowledge of machines and technologies is exploding, but our abilities and understanding of life are diminishing in equal measure.

So, what do you think should be done when the flu or a cold appears? The symptoms are very clear: fever to burn away impurities, diarrhea, runny nose, expectoration, and sweating—in short, the body is cleansing itself! What can be done to help it? You have to fast. Drink fluids, rest, and let the body do its job. The body has difficulty assimilating food and purifying itself at the same time. This is why people who continue to eat normally during a cold or flu sometimes drag it out for several weeks. The flu virus is not the culprit. It is only the excuse the body uses to purify itself. Lemon water, enemas, fasting, in short, anything that can help the body purify itself, and in 2 or 3 days it’s over. In fact, it often only takes me 12 to 24 hours. Those who have an excellent lifestyle never catch a cold. You have to learn how to cleanse the body. Among other things, what has been completely forgotten in the modern era is the annual parasite cleanse. It’s vital! All indigenous peoples do it. All over the planet. But in our society? We change the oil in our cars, but we forget about our own intestines, which are infested with worms and other parasites. This is one of the main causes of obesity and many diseases.

In my book The Philosophy of Nature, I call this simple common sense. Two basic principles. Take time to purify the body with cleanses, sweat baths, enemas, intermittent fasting, healthy living, etc. Then, eat a healthy and varied diet, take the time to prepare meals with organic ingredients and chew well! And, as the times demand, basic knowledge of the supplements we need. There is a wealth of literature on the subject. You just have to do your research or consult an expert. Naturopathy is the discipline most often consulted for supplements. I will mention just two essentials: digestive enzymes and probiotics.

As the holidays approach, I wish you all a cleansing regimen that will prepare you for the festive gatherings that will be a source of joy rather than discomfort and illness.

Peace, Light, and Love
