I am grateful to my readers for the moral and financial support they have shown me since I confided in you about the difficulties I was having in bringing the blog into compliance with the new laws in Quebec. We have achieved our goal!
I will therefore give the go-ahead to the company that maintains the blog’s services.
I will now resume sharing with you the streams of consciousness that animate me in these days of great planetary transition.
For now, just a simple post. I would like to share with you a short video of the Grand Entry of the All Our Relations Healing Powwow in Calgary, which I attended last May. It is the most majestic and symbolic moment of most Powwows, with the chiefs, veterans, different classes of dancers, ritual objects, and the sound of the great grandfather drum and songs. It is majestic and inspiring, and a source of pride that our traditions continue and adapt to the times.
Next, a description of another way of honoring Indigenous peoples, this time in Russia. Don’t believe the propaganda of the Atlanticist countries, but understand that Russia is currently a world champion for respect for divers peoples and nations, their traditions, their territorial integrity, and respect for United Nations norms and laws. But I’ll let you discover that for yourself. I can recommend the daily program by Xavier Moreau, a Frenchman living in Moscow and director of stratpol.com, who has one of the most enlightened and informed views on political strategy that I have found. In short, below the video you will see a description of International Indigenous Peoples’ Day in Russia.
August 9 is International Indigenous Peoples’ Day in Russia
▪️In Russia, there are about 50 small indigenous peoples living in the Far North, Siberia, and the Far East, who preserve their traditional way of life and languages.
▪️They maintain an ancestral way of life—reindeer herding, fishing, hunting, and handicrafts—and speak their own languages.
▪️This day highlights the importance of protecting cultural and natural heritage and the sustainable development of indigenous communities.
