Dear readers, it is with great warmth that I share with you my visions for the year 2026.
On a personal level, things remain unchanged, as they have been since the beginning of time. Each of us is responsible for our thoughts, words and actions, and for the positive or negative consequences that result from them. No one can free us from our karma except ourselves. As some great masters say, the only good thing about bad deeds is that we can atone for them. We can undo the harmful effects of our mistakes. There is an article on my blog that gives one of the methods for doing this. But that is not the focus here.
Too often I hear people say that we will be saved by ascension, by extraterrestrials, or by Jesus or this or that guru. I am sorry to disillusion you, but if that were possible, long ago, enlightened beings such as Buddha, Christ, Padmasambhava, Fools Crow, Ywahoo, or others would have, in their immense compassion, spared us from the effects of our bad words and deeds. But no. Everyone is responsible for their own karma. It is important to emphasize this, because it is an unavoidable reality that we too often choose to ignore.
On the other hand, we can influence the whole, all of mankind and the planet, by being as fair and good as possible. This inspires others, and the radiance of our good thoughts and words is beneficial. The harmonic resonance of our goodness can promote peace in the world.
This is truly what matters most on a collective level this year. Humanity is on the cusp of a new era. Our choices today, our willingness to embody wisdom and love, will determine the future of our planet. The pendulum is swinging in both directions at the moment. There are nations that are working well to respect all nations in a spirit of collaboration, and there are others that cling to their past as dominators and colonizers. Both tendencies are there… And the means of destruction possessed by all are enormous…
The only thing possible for us, as small folk seeking peace and tranquility so we may take care for our own, is to radiate around us the four infinite virtues: loving kindness, empathetic compassion, joy—bliss, and equanimity, which is also consideration for all beings. It is good and beneficial to meditate on this daily. That is why they are called infinite… if these virtues are practiced with perseverance in the long term they lead to the highest spiritual realization.
Humanity must find the path to peace. This implies respect for ALL beings. The tendency of certain companies and institutions to prioritize profit or certain peoples over others for financial, gender, religious, national, sexual or racial reasons is not in accordance with the will of the Creator. His representative for us in our galactic system, the sun, shines its light equally on everyone, on the little ant as well as on the President of the nation. In this, the universal laws are apparent. It is this awareness that is important for humanity today. As well as learning to extend this same consideration to the other realms that share the earth with us: animal, plant and mineral kingdoms.
We have a long way to go. But each of us can be part of the solution starting today. By radiating kindness, concern for others, joy and equality of spirit, we vibrate at the universal frequencies that create life. This will do good and bring favorable circumstances for our loved ones, our communities, our nation and the planet.

I think that even if Jesus did come back would He be impressed that some of us had the “right theology”, or that people did not treat each other like turds? I reckon he would prefer us to be kind, regardless of beliefs and ideas.
I know … I am not too popular in churches, these days.
