PERFUME, MUSIC AND BOOKS FOR AN ENLIGHTENED AND HEALTHY HUMANITY
AN ANECDOTE FROM THE FIRST NATIONS DISABILITY SUPPORT PROGRAM AT INVOCATION
I’m the creator of the Invocation Perfumes Co. Today I went to our beautiful boutique where I recognized Victoria’s hand. Everything was beautifully placed. I’m hearing Steve talking all the way back in the factory. Coming into production I see Shanna.
The wolf teaches us goodwill and communal harmony. In the Native tradition, it symbolizes the teacher, the one who guides the community. Wolves have a very strict community structure, they always work together and each one has its place so this is why their sense of community is well-developed. Older ones teach the younger how they should behave in the pack.
The key words for heron medicine are purification and self-knowledge. Most waterfowl are associated with purification because water is the purifying element par excellence.
The heron in particular, because of its size and its ability to stand on one leg for hours on end, evokes self-knowledge. Heron is often meditating, in contemplation of the surrounding water world.
Why are we on earth? What is the mission and purpose of mankind?
These questions are fundamental because answering them helps to solve many of the problems we have on the planet today. Pollution, disease, and people who cause others to suffer in a thousand and one ways, exist only because we are not fulfilling our role, our reason for being on earth.

The ruling, a victory for the Native American and environmentalist groups who oppose the pipeline, said that it must be emptied of oil by Aug. 5
Many people today, in spite of progress and science, talk about how difficult it is to live. They speak of the need to flee a world where there is aggression, authoritarianism, violence, lack of respect, injustices, restriction of our fundamental liberties, families where true love is ignored in order to better conform to a system that does not acknowledge our emotional needs, scorned by an elitist educational system, indifferent governmental bureaucrats, all the irrationality and evilness of men conditioned by our technocratic system.
Whale is a very important animal for planet earth. According to ancient tradition, the Creator’s helpers placed it here, at the very beginning of the creation of life on earth, to be the guardian of its archives. Whales keep the history of planetary evolution and the energies present during the different ages of the globe. It’s like a swimming library!
From the beginning of times, as Man evolved in his relationship with the earth, there have been important moments at precise times every year when communities would assemble and pray. They would give thanks for the abundance of nature and perform the native ceremonies and rituals that reaffirmed Men’s unity with creation and the agreements with the spirits of the elements, plant and animal worlds that allowed for harmonious living on earth. Through these celebrations and spiritual assemblies we remained in harmony with the world we used to live in.
Here is another animal associated with the South. Certain nations even call it the eagle of the South.
The gobbler as it’s also called because of its typical throaty sound, represents the most spiritual and important medicine for all First Nations, that of generosity and sharing. We even have special ceremonies for gifting others called the giveaway or the potlatch.
It’s summer! The garden and forest love this hot, humid weather. The plant growth is visible day by day. I’ve beautiful and abundant wild flowers growing everywhere on my small family domain. They’ve come uninvited, yet their beauty is welcome. The voluptuous rapid growth of the south, the season of laughter and warmth is with us today.
