\"\"The first thing we need to understand if we want to tackle this subject is the true nature of who we are. This means defining what consciousness is. We are aware that we exist. Since when? Can you remember the moment when you became aware of your existence? You could search for decades, but you would never find it. The consciousness of being, the true nature of being, has always existed. It can never disappear. It cannot be altered, changed, perverted, sullied, distorted, deteriorated, transformed, falsified or frozen into something temporal or temporary. It is immortal, without beginning or end, without texture, flavour, colour, smell or definite expression, without any characteristics whatsoever, as vast as the sky and as timeless as eternity. Both emptiness and infinite presence without limits, consciousness is quite simply, naturally, our true manifestation and that of all conscious beings. Gregori Grabavoi expressed it in a single sentence: there is no objective reality outside of consciousness<\/em>. It exists everywhere and nowhere. It is boundless emptiness and compassion. It simply is.<\/p>\n

It is our true identity. It is who we truly are. The problem is that we are not aware of it. We take for granted the real existence of what we see around us. We think that this body I inhabit, this house, this street, these trees and animals, have an existence of their own, independent of me. Thus, the great illusion that is defined by the term duality. We think there is a subject and an object, there is me and what I see, my perception of the chair, of the table, implies that these things exist there, independently of me. Sorry to burst the bubble, but that’s not true.<\/p>\n

One of the images used to try to explain the true nature of our consciousness is that of the mirror. The mirror is empty, there is nothing inside it. Yet it will reflect and take on the colour and appearance of whatever is placed in front of it. If we put a red shirt in front of it, the mirror will show red. If we put a blue shirt in front of it, the mirror will show blue. But the nature of the mirror has not changed. It is still as empty and neutral as before, no matter what it reflects. So it is with our consciousness.<\/p>\n

The first realisation on the path to spiritual healing is the understanding of the emptiness of consciousness. Absolutely everything you see, as well as any identification with the human body you carry and the things around you, has no real substance. Everything is empty. The proof of this is easy to explain. Nothing you see will remain the same forever. Everything is in a state of constant transformation. Everything changes all the time. Nothing is stable. Even the highest mountain will one day be at sea level. Even the sun will one day be transformed into something else that is not at all what we see as the sun today. Even you, from one day to the next, are ageing, changing, transforming.<\/p>\n

True spiritual healing begins when we realise the ultimate reality. If the true nature of being is revealed, in that very moment, we begin to heal from the great illusion that keeps us prisoners. For we are prisoners of the suffering of existence in a body that is ageing and quietly losing its abilities, losing its pleasures, losing its loved ones, losing its possessions, losing its health, losing its life. This is the lot of all human beings. But this is not a finality. We can escape this infernal cycle where all the mistakes we have made, and first and foremost the great illusion, the mind caught up in duality, bring us back again and again and again into the endless cycle of births in bodies that all have the same destiny, the incessant activities to fulfil our needs, followed by the loss of everything we have become attached to and everything we have loved. And then we start all over again.<\/p>\n

Do you want to heal from the great illusion, achieve liberation, what some call enlightenment, others ascension, or the rainbow body and the body of light? What you have heard about Jesus Christ when he revealed himself to the apostles after his crucifixion? In America and Tibet and in Asian countries such as India, Nepal, Thailand, etc., there are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of followers who have achieved this liberation, either while they were still alive or at the moment of death. When it happens during their lifetime, nothing remains of their physical body; they become pure light and disappear from the eyes of all except a few highly evolved souls who are themselves close to this same liberation. For those who do so at the moment of death in deep meditation, after seven days only their nails and hair remain. The entire body has returned to the purity of the elements that constituted it, and the consciousness, with its memory of all its lives intact, continues to work in the light for the good of all beings.<\/p>\n
