There were great moments and a few challenges this year. Always many adaptations to a new place and a new understanding on how to lead vision quests. I have been leading vision quests for 30 years now and am still learning. But all in all everyone came out of it with greater presence, evolution and happiness. Two new spiritual elders, several new names for those who grew so well that it’s necessary to confirm in their identity this spiritual evolution, a marriage and other great moments were experienced.
The sharing and dedication of the participants in all the daily tasks of community life within Nature was revealing of the strength underlying the group. To work together with a common purpose with respect and mutual sense of our purpose, which is to pass on Native American values and evolution that can ensue from their understanding.
I thank my organizer Jocelyne, who gave us exceptional conditions for this event.
The elements were favourable and harmonious with a summer shower before our arrival and another one when leaving. On the final stretch the weather channel was giving us a rainy day but opening the luminous vortex for the ceremonies brought us beautiful sunshine and ideal temperature to celebrate our rites of passage!

The rites of passage are the seasons of human life. When they are celebrated with shamanic power they propel Man on a road of harmony and power. Growth becomes natural and definitive. The best example to illustrate this is this strange and difficult phenomenon that modern society calls adolescent crisis. Adolescence does not exist in an aboriginal context where rites of passage are celebrated. The young man and the young lady cross directly from childhood to the maturity of an adult in a few days thanks to the rites of passage.

Within a week my report on our journey this summer to Mongolia. We have plenty of beautiful photos!! It was a memorable journey. Will be worth reading.
